Yorba Linda : 1 of 6 Winning Lotto Tickets Bought in City

One of the six winning tickets in Wednesday night’s Lotto 6-49 game was purchased in Yorba Linda, state lottery officials said Thursday.

Each of the six tickets had the six winning numbers for the game, whose jackpot is $5.55 million, officials said. Each winner will receive $925,909, paid out, less taxes, in equal annual amounts over 20 years.

The winners will not be identified until they come forward to claim their prizes. The other winning tickets were bought in Azusa, Hawthorne, Newhall, Hayward and San Francisco.

The winning numbers chosen by Lotto machine Wednesday night were 11, 33, 22, 1, 7, 29 and the bonus number 23.

Eighteen players, an usually high number, won in the five-plus-bonus-number category. Each of these will receive $82,535.

Those tickets were purchased in Orange, Granada Hills, Canoga Park, Lakewood, Lawndale, Fallbrook, Imperial Beach, Fremont, Castro Valley, Santa Paula, San Francisco, Napa, Salinas, San Jose, Moraga (in Contra Costa County), Twain Harte (in Tuolumne County) and Campbell (in Santa Clara County).

Picking five of six numbers was worth $1,194 to 641 players, and picking four of six paid $30 to each of 23,127 players. Three of six was worth an automatic $5 to 327,746 players.

Saturday night’s lotto jackpot was estimated at $6 million.
