A hearing was scheduled June 8 before the appellate division of the New York Supreme Court on the San Diego Yacht Club’s appeal of a ruling awarding the America’s Cup to the Mercury Bay Boating Club of New Zealand.
With New Zealand pressing for delivery of the Cup, San Diego had requested a hearing as soon as possible. A decision is expected by the end of the year.
