Placentia : Applications Asked for Several City Panels
Applications are being accepted to fill anticipated vacancies on several Placentia city commissions.
The city is seeking adult residents to fill seats on its planning, recreation and parks, cultural arts and traffic safety commissions as well as on its civic center authority. Some seats may be filled by incumbents whose terms expire July 1 but who are asking to be considered for reappointment. Terms run for 4 years.
Applications are also being sought from high school students to fill an opening for one position on the Recreation and Parks Commission. Interested students must contact their school principals, who will then make recommendations to the city.
