Hiccuping Baby Put in Freezer; Man Held
From United Press International
NATCHITOCHES, La. —
A man was held Friday on $25,000 bond for allegedly putting his girlfriend’s 11-month-old daughter in a freezer to cure her hiccups, police said.
Alvin Williams, 27, was booked Thursday on a charge of attempted murder, Lt. Keith Thompson said. He denied putting the girl there.
“The baby apparently wasn’t in the freezer for very long,” Thompson said. “She looked to be in real good condition.”
