IN BRIEF : Sancho Signs With the Chiefs
Linebacker Ron Sancho, the Kansas City Chief’s seventh-round draft pick, signed a three-year contract with the team, officials said today.
Sancho is the first player drafted this year to sign with the Chiefs, team President Carl Peterson said. No other contract terms were announced.
Sancho, 23, started all four years at Louisiana State University. He recorded 300 tackles, 23 sacks and five interceptions.
As a senior, the 6-foot, 2-inch, 230-pound Sancho was named to the first-team All-Southeast Conference team.
