Giamatti’s Actions Are Hard to Figure

I am hard pressed to figure why the immediate resignation of Mr. Renaissance, Bart Giamatti, has not been pursued.
We throw out Jimmy (I don’t miss him) Snyder for reiterating thoughts of a former black leader.
We throw out a confused, uneducated and innocent Al Campanis for making statements that are still unclear as to their meaning.
Giamatti calls a drug trafficker a swell fellow because the drug trafficker chose to take advantage of Pete Rose’s situation to benefit himself.
Giamatti may be a man of letters and degrees, but he is one big dummy.
