Padres Option Eric Nolte to Las Vegas
The Padres took pitcher Eric Nolte off the disabled list Monday and optioned him to their triple-A team in Las Vegas.
Nolte had been on the disabled list since undergoing surgery for a perforated ulcer on March 16.
Nolte began the 1988 season in San Diego and pitched in two games without a decision. He was 8-7 with a 6.03 earned run average in Las Vegas last season.
