Santa Monica : Teacher of the Year Named
Roosevelt Elementary School teacher Christie Savage was named School District Teacher of the Year for 1989-90 at the Monday night meeting of the Santa Monica-Malibu school board.
Savage and 15 other teachers in the district were honored for their teaching abilities. The staffs at the schools nominated 16 teachers for the Teacher of the Year award, and Savage was chosen by a committee of teachers and administrators.
