Mike Torrez, Dock Ellis and Wilbur Wood combined on a two-hitter, each pitching 1 1/3 innings, as the American League defeated the National League, 5-0, in an Equitable Old Timers game at St. Louis.

The National League was hitless until Jerry Grote and Bobby Tolan got two-out singles off Ellis in the fourth inning.

Ron LeFlore drove in two runs and Bert Campaneris, Mickey Rivers and Bill North each drove in one for the American League.
