LOCAL : Truck Overturns on I-5 On-Ramp
A tanker truck carrying jet fuel overturned on an on-ramp to the Golden State Freeway in Sun Valley this morning, but no one was hurt.
Only a small amount of fuel was spilled, and traffic on the freeway was not seriously affected, the California Highway Patrol said.
The truck spilled about five gallons of jet fuel after it overturned shortly before 9 a.m. on the ramp from Paxton Street to the northbound freeway, CHP Officer Charlotte Foley said. Authorities closed the ramp but did not have to close any part of the freeway, Foley said.
