Ten people were left homeless this morning in Sylmar after a fire caused $250,000 damage to a condominium complex, the Los Angeles City Fire Department said.

The cause of the 6:10 a.m. fire was being investigated, Fire Department spokesman Jim Wells said.

One of the building’s condominiums was gutted and another was damaged slightly, Wells said.
