. . “Road House”--the ultra-violent Patrick Swayze pic--is set in rural Missouri. But--oops--during a scene that takes place in a used car lot, you’ll want to watch the background for a freeway sign . . . reading “Los Angeles/Bakersfield”!

Last week, usually tasteful KCBS hyped its Thursday night lineup with print ads trumpeting, “Behind the Scenes and Under the Covers.” Taking viewers “behind the scenes”: “48 Hours,” hosted by Dan Rather. Under the covers referred to the “sizzling season finale” of “Knots Landing.” (And the photo of Rather was half the size of “Knots Landing” star Donna Mills.)

. . . A source tells us those sophisticated Westwood audiences are booing the trailer for Tri-Star’s summer pic, “Lock-Up”--when star Sly Stallone appears.
