Food Poisoning Outbreak Prompts Mushroom Recall
From Associated Press
WASHINGTON —
Three separate outbreaks of food poisoning have led federal authorities to order a recall of institutional-sized cans of mushrooms from China.
The 68-ounce cans carry the packer designations “TM” in the top line, or “T3” or M2” in the middle line of a three-line code on the end of the can, the Food and Drug Administration reported.
The FDA said it is stepping up testing of home-sized cans of mushrooms from China, but has not ordered a recall.
