Jazz Sounds to Enliven Museum Cafe

Jazz groups will perform on consecutive Sundays in June in the Sculpture Garden Cafe at Newport Harbor Art Museum.

The series will be held in conjunction with the “Matisse-Jazz” exhibition, currently at the museum.

The concerts will be from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

-- June 4: Percussious, piano and percussion duo.

-- June 11: Willeford, Nolte and Turnbull, vocals, viola and guitar.

-- June 18: Harold Todd Quartet, saxophone, keyboard, guitar and drums.

-- June 25: Gary Hogan Trio, acoustic bass, piano and drums.

The concerts are free with admission to the museum ($3 for adults; $2 students, seniors and military; $1, children 6 to 17). The museum is at 850 San Clemente Drive, Newport Beach. (714) 759-1122.
