IN BRIEF : Warrant for Doug Williams’ Wife
An arrest warrant has been issued for the wife of Washington Redskins star Doug Williams of Zachary after the quarterback accused her of cashing a $75,000 check and taking off with the money.
Lisa Kai Robinson Williams, 27, allegedly cashed a check issued to Doug Williams for advertisements in Ebony Magazine, according to the arrest warrant and an East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office spokesman.
Neither Williams nor his wife answered the telephone today at their home.
