Huston Documentary to Screen Wednesday

The documentary “John Houston: The Man, the Movie, the Maverick,” spanning his 60-year-career as writer, director and actor, will be screened Wednesday at the County Museum of Art.

Interviews, rare home movie footage and excerpts from selected films such as, “The African Queen,” “The Misfits” and “Key Largo” will be presented. The $100 affair (proceeds will benefit the museum’s film department) begins at 7 p.m., followed by the film excerpts in the Leo Bing Theater at 8 p.m. Information: (213) 857-6542.
