Cerritos College Conducts Major Hiring Campaign
Cerritos College, in the midst of a major hiring campaign, so far has added 18 new faculty members for the 1989-90 fall semester that begins Aug. 21.
A total of 35 faculty and administrators will be hired before the fall semester starts. The new staff members will fill positions left vacant by attrition, said Mark Wallace, director of public information.
The new staff members are being spread over all divisions of the 20,000-student college. The new hires will bring the college up to its full faculty strength of 250.
Wallace said the community college is conducting one of its most extensive searches to recruit instructors.
