SEABROOK, N.H. —
Police arrested about 100 people today as they tried to block employees from entering the Seabrook nuclear plant, which is scheduled to begin its first nuclear reaction later this week.
Toay’s arrests followed a weekend of demonstrations at the long-delayed plant that led to the arrest of 627 protesters on Sunday. The latest round of protests at the $6-billion reactor was prompted by plans for low-power nuclear testing at Seabrook later this week.
