Hopkins Development Co. of Newport Beach has been chosen by the Irvine Co. to develop a 53-acre retail complex in Irvine Spectrum, Hopkins has announced.
The first phase of the project will be a retail center designed to support the business complex, said Marty Potts, Hopkins project manager. It is scheduled for completion by the fall of 1990.
Irvine Spectrum is a 2,600-acre, master-planned center for research, technology and business that is under development by the Irvine Co. It is at the juncture of the San Diego and the Santa Ana freeways in Irvine.
