First Prime-Time Conference for Bush

WASHINGTON — President Bush will hold his first prime-time televised news conference at 5 p.m. PDT today in the East Room of the White House, spokesman Marlin Fitzwater announced Wednesday. The news conference will be carried live on ABC, CBS, NBC and cable networks CNN and C-SPAN.
