FRIENDSHIP FLIGHT LOG
Tony Aliengena, an 11-year-old San Juan Capistrano boy, is piloting a single-engine plane in hope of becoming the youngest person ever to circumnavigate the globe.
Highlight
Thursday, Tony flew under mostly clear skies as he passed over America’s heartland en route to St. Louis’ Lambert International Airport, where he was met by a heavy contingent of media and residents. Tony and crew plan to tour the city with a special stop at the famous gateway arch. There Tony was to visit an aviation museum that includes memorabilia from Charles Lindbergh, who flew the Spirit of St. Louis across the Atlantic Ocean.
