Ellen Odeh Nassab; Sister of Activist Killed by Bomb
Ellen Odeh Nassab, 50, sister of Alex Odeh, the Arab-American activist killed in a 1985 Orange County bomb blast and herself active in organizations trying to bring peace to the Middle East. She belonged to and was a spokeswoman for such groups as the Coalition for Peace in the Middle East and the Orange County Cousins Club, an organization of Jews and Palestinians concerned with the Arab-Israeli conflict. In Munich, West Germany, on Thursday where she was undergoing treatment for liver cancer.
