Theater Complaints

Share

Recently, at a Century City theater, the right 25% of the screen was severely out of focus. I complained to the manager and then hurried back into the theater. It was never corrected nor was an attempt made to do so. (It is obvious when a projectionist tries to correct focus.)

I complained again but was rudely told by the manager that he did the best he could and that the lens housing was broken. (Apparently there wasn’t even a projectionist available to correct the problem.) I was snidely told that if I didn’t like it I could get my money back.

This is not the first time I have had such an experience. It seems theater mangement does not care about the quality of their presentation of the films. It takes too much time out of their more important duties--preparing popcorn and peddling soft drinks. KENNETH BANK
