Paper Ceases to Publish

JACKSON, Miss. —
The Jackson Daily News, one of Mississippi’s largest’s newspapers, ceased publication Friday, in its 98th year.
Gannett Co. will merge the Daily News with its sister morning publication, the Clarion-Ledger, on Monday.
