President and Mrs. Bush are scheduled to host a “Very Special Arts Festival” Thursday afternoon on the White House lawn. Monty Hall will host the performances by mimes, jugglers, dancers and singers from around the world. They are in Washington this week for the first International Very Special Arts Festival for people of all ages with physical and mental disabilities. The festival commemorates the 15th anniversary of Very Special Arts, an educational affiliate of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, founded in 1974 by Jean Kennedy Smith.
