The City of Newport Beach Arts Commission has announced the winners of its second annual juried art show: Ruth Green ($1,000 award for “Race Day on Ruby’s Deck,” a watercolor); Tat Shinno ($500 for “Quiet Cove,” a watercolor); Maurice Cook ($250 for “Jeffrey Pine,” a photograph); and Jeffrey Frisch, Ferris A. Hovey, Audrey McNeill and Penny McManigal (honorable mention awards of $100 each). The winning pieces will be on view through July 5 at the Newport Beach City Hall Gallery, 3100 Newport Blvd.
