An instructional aide from a Carlsbad high school pleaded innocent Wednesday to six counts of administering or selling steroids to students.
Greg Tirona, 31, of Carlsbad, was allowed to remain free on his own recognizance by San Diego Municipal Judge John Thompson.
A preliminary hearing was set for July 12 on charges of furnishing the drugs to three students between Oct. 1 and Nov. 30.
