South County : Chamber of Commerce Decides to Change Name
The Saddleback Regional Chamber of Commerce is changing its name to the South Orange County Chamber of Commerce, effective July 1.
The new name reflects a natural progression of the chamber’s growth, which serves several communities in the southern part of the county, according to the chamber.
The change is not intended to interfere with other local chambers, said executive director Pat Crockett. Instead, the South Orange County Chamber of Commerce will try to help the smaller chambers by expanding its existing services and adding new ones, which will be announced in July, officials said.
