Culver City : Landmarks Program Begun
The City Council voted Monday night to create a historic preservation program and will form a Historic Preservation Advisory Committee to identify and protect landmark buildings.
The 12-member committee will establish criteria to designate buildings of historic significance. The group will help draft a historic preservation ordinance for Culver City.
The ordinance is expected to be discussed by the City Council in July.
