The Glasnost Bowl is dead, but the Soviet Union will still play host this summer to American-style football.

Two teams of graduating high school players from Oklahoma will play in three Soviet cities during a 15-day tour, including a Fourth of July game in a 100,000-seat stadium at Leningrad.

USC and Illinois were scheduled to play in the Glasnost Bowl Sept. 2 at Moscow, but the game was moved to the Coliseum because of contract disputes.
