Hot on the heels of recent Big Three network promotional deals with major companies (NBC with Sears, CBS with K mart), Fox Broadcasting Co. will enter into a marketing partnership with the Coca-Cola Co., the “fourth network” announced Thursday. The nationwide promotion, which is also linked with Cineplex Odeon theaters and Westwood One Radio Networks, will feature contests such the “Isle of Dreams Treasure Hunt,” in which one of 1,000 winners of a seven-day Carnival Cruise will take home a grand prize of $1 million. The promotional effort includes a 45-second film trailer to be shown in 1,200 Cineplex Odeon theaters, where moviegoers will be able to enter the contests by signing up in the lobbies.
