Submarine-Launch Test of Trident 2 Missile Delayed

WASHINGTON —
The Navy on Thursday pushed back the test date of the submarine-launched Trident 2 missile from mid-July to early August so it can complete analysis of the rebuilt control system. The first sea test of the missile ended March 21 when the rocket broke through the surface of the water off Cape Canaveral, Fla., cartwheeled off-course and exploded.
