Bruho Sprints to Win on Turf at Hollywood Park

Bruho angled wide down the stretch and outraced the field Thursday to win the $50,000 turf feature at Hollywood Park by 2 1/2 lengths.

Bruho, ridden by Corey Black and carrying 114 pounds, was timed in 1:08 4/5 to take the $27,000 winner’s share in the six-furlong race for 3-year-olds. He paid $6.00, $4.40 and $2.80.

Tenacious Tom, ridden by Eddie Delahoussaye and carrying 121 pounds, was second. He paid $5.00 and $4.00.

Double Quick, carrying 116 with Alex Solis aboard, was third, paying $3.40.
