Maxicare Gets Line of Credit: Maxicare Health Plans Inc. has signed an agreement with General Electric Capital Corp. for a $15-million line of credit. Maxicare, which has operated since March under federal Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, also said it is negotiating with GE Capital for a consulting agreement on the development of a reorganization plan. Completion of the credit agreement is subject to various reviews, including approval of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Santa Ana.
