Rustlers Score 9 in the 8th to Beat Amigos
The Huntington Beach Rustlers defeated the Anaheim Amigos, 13-4, in a Metro League baseball game at Golden West College Wednesday night.
The Rustlers scored nine runs in the eighth inning, highlighted by Brian Mena’s two-out, three-run home run.
Mena was three for three with four runs batted in, and teammate James Johnson was two for three with a double and an RBI.
The Rustlers (6-3) received strong pitching from reliever Shane Rumney (6-0), who pitched three hitless innings. Brian Feathers (0-6) took the loss for the Amigos (4-6-1).
