Whose Birthday?

Somehow the producers of the Disney-themed program at the Hollywood Bowl on July 4 managed to avoid even a casual reference to the holiday being celebrated!

Disney productions are great, but really, what is the connection between Donald Duck and the Declaration of Independence? All the full house (mostly children) got was a rerun of Disney films and the nightly festivities at Disneyland.

A child next to me thought it was Walt Disney’s birthday!
