THE SIDELINES : Broxton Falls 11 Floors to His Death

VINA DEL MAR, Chile —
Ray Broxton, who played basketball for Old Dominion and the University of Connecticut, fell to his death from his 11th-floor apartment early today.
Police said Broxton, who would have turned 27 on Aug. 29, locked himself out of the building and tried to enter through a window from a neighboring apartment. Broxton, from Daytona Beach, Fla., fell to the street and died at a local hospital 50 minutes later.
