Simmons Boosts Stake in Lockheed: Texas investor Harold C. Simmons has increased his stake in Lockheed from 6.25% to 8.03%, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing. It is the second time since March that Simmons has increased his stake in the company. Simmons, who leads an investor group, has said his Lockheed shares are for investment purposes only, but his filing contains language that indicates he may seek control of the company. Lockheed is based in Calabasas.
