In response to “Willie Brown’s Minimum Coverage Auto Insurance Bill Is Approved by Assembly,” Part I, July 7:

The no-fault insurance coverage portion of Assembly Speaker Brown’s minimum coverage auto insurance bill is a bad idea. By setting a low maximum liability coverage and prohibiting lawsuits, it would unjustly deny fair and adequate compensation to people injured by someone covered by the insurance. This portion of the insurance bill should be rejected.
