Feeling a need to bring in new students and new action, ABC’s “Head of the Class” will introduce four new series regulars at a press conference this morning. The new faces: Lara Piper, Rain Pryor (Richard Pryor’s daughter), Devoreax White and Michael De Lorenzo. The addition of new cast members “gives us new story possibilities and a fresher look,” says Michael Elias, executive producer with Rich Eustis. For the coming season--its fourth--Elias says the students will be in their senior year, so there will be stories about “the anxiety of kids who have to get into college, can they afford it, what will they do with their lives after leaving the protective surroundings of high school.” Three cast members will not be returning: Leslie Bega, Jory Husain and Tannis Vallely.
