Concerning KFAC’s purchase by a Dallas-based corporation:
Another piece of Southern California culture vanishes due to the kind of people who brought us Lyndon Johnson, and bankruptcy as an art form.
The rich have the Los Angeles Music Center and the Orange County Performing Arts Center. We poor (there is no more middle class) had KFAC for good music.
Of course we poor folks don’t really need that kind of music--just a little guitar picking and “The Eyes of Texas.”
