General Microelectronics, a company developing a line of supercomputers, reported a second-quarter loss of $743,836 on revenue of $360,752, contrasted with a loss of $506,827 on sales of $540,487 over the same quarter last year.

For the six months ended June 30, the company’s loss was $1.2 million on sales of $817,363, up from a loss of $493,315 on sales of $1.5 million for the first half of 1988.
