Dravecky Gets Shutout in Minor League Outing
Associated Press
STOCKTON, Calif. —
Dave Dravecky, the San Francisco Giants’ pitcher trying to come back from cancer surgery, threw a complete game shutout to lead San Jose to a 2-0 victory over Stockton on Sunday.
The left-hander retired the first 10 batters he faced and allowed only five hits.
He is on a rehabilitation assignment for the Giants, trying to get back into the starting rotation following his comeback from surgery last October to remove a cancerous tumor in his left arm.
