Westchester : New Loyola Vice President

John R. Oester has been named vice president for business and finance at Loyola Marymount University.

Oester has worked since 1972 as an administrator at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Ala., most recently as vice president for financial affairs. A graduate of Spring Hill, he also holds a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard University.

He is the 1988-89 chairman of the Conference of Finance Officers of the Assn. of Jesuit Colleges and Universities.
