Jury Deliberates: The jury that delivered a guilty verdict Monday in the Princeton/Newport Limited Partners racketeering and securities fraud trial returned to the deliberation room to decide how much money the six defendants must forfeit to the government under the federal racketeering law. Prosecutors asked the jury to make the six give up to a total of $22.61 million, which the government claims represents their share of the proceeds from a continuing criminal enterprise. Five executives of Princeton/Newport, a securities trading concern that has gone out of business, and a former Drexel Burnham Lambert Inc. trader were convicted on racketeering, racketeering conspiracy, mail fraud and securities fraud.
