De Laurentiis Group Sues Founder: De Laurentiis Entertainment Group said it has filed a lawsuit against its founder and former chief executive, Dino De Laurentiis, for damages for alleged fraud and alleged breach of fiduciary duty. The suit was filed in federal bankruptcy court in Los Angeles, where the company sought protection from creditors on Aug. 16, 1988. The company also noted that its agreement to sell most of its assets to Carolco Pictures was recently revised to increase the cash consideration to $28 million, up from $18.6 million.
