Caltech Gets $1 Million for Science Fellowships

PASADENA — The Weingart Foundation has donated $1 million to Caltech to establish the Dr. Lee A. DuBridge Postdoctoral Prize Fellows Award Fund, which will be used for postdoctoral fellowships in physical sciences research. Each award will provide a stipend of $30,000 a year for three years. DuBridge served as president of Caltech from 1946 to 1969.
