Adriatic Aid Plan OKd

ROME —
The Italian government approved a $200-million aid package Friday for hotels and fishermen suffering because of slimy algae polluting the Adriatic coast.
The money will help hotels build swimming pools and other facilities for bathers repelled by the gluey scum. It will also subsidize fishermen whose stocks have been reduced by the algae.
