Raiders’ Lewis Sues to Void Contract
Holdout center Bill Lewis filed suit against the Raiders in Los Angeles County Superior Court Wednesday, asking to be declared a free agent.
Lewis contends he is not under contract.
The Raiders contend that he is in his option year. Lewis concedes that he signed a contract with an option for this year, but claims that there were extraordinary and confusing circumstances that should void the option.
