Services Slated for Slain Jewish Council Leader

The funeral service for Jerry Weber, a prominent Jewish community leader who was slain in a robbery at an automated teller machine, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Valley Beth Shalom synagogue, 15739 Ventura Blvd., Encino.
Weber, 49, was director of the Council on Jewish Life of the Jewish Federation Council of Greater Los Angeles for 10 years. He was shot and killed outside a bank in West Los Angeles early Tuesday.
